Journal of Educators Online

Home

The Journal of Educators Online (JEO) is a peer-reviewed publication dedicated to advancing research and theory on technology-mediated teaching and learning in higher education. The journal focuses on the use of digital tools, platforms, and pedagogical innovations that enhance online education or integrate technology into other educational models. JEO prioritizes research that is widely applicable across higher education contexts, contributing to a deeper understanding of how technology shapes learning experiences, instructional strategies, and student engagement.

The goals of JEO are to:
• Promote a scholarly approach to teaching and learning in technology-mediated environments.
• Foster dialogue on research-driven innovations in online education and technology-enhanced learning.
• Advance the understanding and application of best practices in digital pedagogy and instructional design.

JEO prioritizes research that offers broadly generalizable insights into technology-mediated teaching and learning in higher education. Studies that focus on a specific discipline, population, or institutional context without clear implications beyond that setting may not align with the journal’s mission. Submissions should contribute to the wider understanding of digital pedagogy, online education, and technology-enhanced learning across diverse higher education environments.

Our audience are educators, policy-makers and students interested in the development, delivery, and management of computer mediated learning in the Arts, Business, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Sciences and Social Sciences. The areas of pedagogy, content, technical and organizational issues are within the scope of the journal.
